Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Kanalyze (“Kanalyze”, “we”, “our”, “us”) operates the financial intelligence service at kanalyze.io. When you create an account or use the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service. For questions, write to support@kanalyze.io.

2. Accounts

You need a Kanalyze account to use the service. You’re responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone has gained access to it.

You must be old enough to enter a contract in your jurisdiction, and the information you give us on signup must be accurate.

3. Acceptable use

Don’t use Kanalyze to break the law, infringe someone else’s rights, upload malware, attack our infrastructure, or abuse the service (for example, by scraping, reverse-engineering the AI, or reselling access without a written agreement). We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

4. Subscription and billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Prices are shown in USD unless stated otherwise, and taxes may be added.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If we change pricing, we’ll let you know before the change takes effect.

5. Your data

You own the financial data you upload to Kanalyze. We host it, process it to provide the service (parsing, variance analysis, AI narratives), and keep it secure. We do not sell your data. How we collect, store, and share data is described in our Privacy Policy.

You grant us a limited license to process your data only as needed to run the service for you and (in aggregated, de-identified form) to improve the product.

6. Availability and liability limits

We work hard to keep Kanalyze available and accurate, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties. AI-generated commentary is a decision-support tool, not professional financial, accounting, legal, or tax advice — don’t rely on it as the sole basis for material decisions.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Termination

You can stop using Kanalyze at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account from the Settings page. We can suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if continuing to serve you would create a legal or security risk. On termination, we’ll delete or return your data per the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be handled by the courts of [your jurisdiction] unless we agree otherwise in writing.
